Selling through the San Juan Islands Food Hub (SJIFH) is easy, and has multiple benefits to the producer.
- Ability to sell your product directly to consumers while restaurant and market sales are suppressed during the Covid-19 outbreak.
- Single weekly aggregation of orders with an individual time slot for drop-offs to minimize person-to-person contact.
- Easy online interface allows you to post available products for the coming week. No need to list your whole inventory up front.

Producer Membership is a one-time $250 share and requires Board approval. Please read through our Market Manual and Terms of Service to see if you will qualify to sell through this market.
SJIFH Limitations:
- Producers bring their orders to a central aggregation point each week on Lopez, Orcas or San Juan island.
- Individual producer drop-off windows will be short and scheduled by the coordinators on your island to enforce health safety protocols. The coordinators will work with you to find as convenient a time as possible. Producers must be punctual for drop-off or we can not get the orders out on time.
- All goods received at the aggregation site must have a label or legible marking indicating producer name, product name, and all ingredients of products. Please refer to our Market Manual for more information.
- Our volunteers will be busy making improvements to better serve both producers and customers based on your feedback. We value your patience, flexibility, and resilient mindset as we work together on this community lift.
